FAQs

Whether you've been to therapy before or you're exploring attending for the first time, you likely have questions that aren't answered here. I offer a free consultation call to answer your questions and discuss your therapy needs.

How much does therapy cost?

The fee for Individual Therapy is $180; Couples Therapy is $195. Sessions are 50 minutes, and payment is processed via credit or debit card on file at the time of service. I reserve a portion of my calendar to provide services at a reduced fee for those in financial need. Please let me know during our consultation call if you'd like to apply for a reduced fee. Learn more about therapy services here.

Do you take insurance?

I do not accept insurance, but I'm happy to provide you with a receipt known as a superbill if you plan to seek reimbursement for out-of-network benefits from your insurance company. Reimbursement will depend on your plan benefits, and I encourage you to contact your health insurance company for more information about your out-of-network benefits.

Do you see clients in person or online?

Both! My office is located at 4314 Yoakum in Houston, TX near the intersection of Richmond and Montrose. I also provide virtual therapy throughout Texas.

How will I know if therapy is a good fit?

Finding a good fit in the therapeutic relationship is essential. With that in mind, I offer a free consultation call to learn more about your therapy needs and answer your questions. If needed, I'm happy to offer referrals and other resources. I also encourage anyone actively participating in therapy to discuss concerns with your therapist.

Are our sessions confidential?

Yes. Trust is crucial to the therapeutic relationship, and I honor what is shared as sacred. As a licensed therapist, I am also bound by HIPAA to ensure that your information is protected and your participation in therapy is not divulged. I will not disclose any information without your explicit consent unless certain exceptions arise where I am legally or ethically obligated. These exceptions typically include harm to self or others, abuse of a child, elder or vulnerable individual, and court orders. Prior to your first session, you will be provided a document that details your rights to confidentiality.
